The World is Lining Up with Bible Prophesy – So Why Are We Acting Confused?

July 1, 2015

I know things look horrible…And it seems like the local church is doing a poor job at practicing what we preach (in terms of showing agape love, seeing miracles, and in terms of ‘commanding a thing’ and ‘having what we say’); but consider this information a well-studied friend of mine shared with me today (and some of these points are already in my upcoming book).

She wrote:

Everything is as it is supposed to be. It’s terrible, but none of it is strange, or a surprise.
1. The CHURCH is doing exactly as it should.
–great falling away (from TRUTH and DOCTRINE)
–salt that looses its flavor
–not heed sound doctrine
–having a form of godliness, but deny the Power
–weak and unprayerful Christians who hardly even pray or read or fast
–powerless preaching that doesn’t deal with sin or repentance
–salt has lost its flavor, and it CANNOT be resalted
–light of the world. Take a look at the world…if you want to know the state of the light

2. JEWS are doing exactly as they should.
–regathered
–surrounded by enemies
–dry bones live again
–reestablish Hebrew
–reestablish agriculture
–reestablish shekel
–burdensome stone to the world

3. NATURE is performing perfectly.
–birds, bees, fish, whales, turtles, etc. dying by the thousands at at a time
–strange noises in the sky
–strange cloud formations
–frequent earthquakes in remote and diverse places
–mad cow, crazy chicken, poison spinach, etc.
–record breaking and devasting storms and winters
–have we forgotten already the earthquake in Haiti, or the tsunami?

4. The WORLD is doing as it should.
–rise in homosexuality (as it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be when the Son of Man returns)
–increased immorality
–legalized marijuana
–witchcraft
–scoffers of the Truth who neither care nor consider
–believe winds of doctrine
–strong delusion sent their way because they refuse to love the Truth
–rise of atheism
–a vast increase in transportation and knowledge, spoken of by the Prophet Daniel

Everything -EVERYTHING – is as it is supposed to be.

God is in complete control.

He warned us these things would happen, and they have all been happening within the last 100 years.

Remembering Dr King’s “I Have Been to the Mountaintop” Speech

January 19, 2015

Today we celebrate the life and legacy of a great man, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr; and as we celebrate, let’s remember the wisdom he spoke in his “I have been to the Mountaintop” speech. Recall more than just the statements made in his final climax; but give focus to some of his less publicized calls-to-action.

Listen for yourself right here.

Unfortunately, several most notable points made in this speech are still apropos today

  • Survival demands that we stop talking, and start grappling with the problems of war & peace, violence & non-violence. It’s either non-violence or non-existence.
  • If something isn’t done and done in a hurry to bring the colored peoples of the world out of their long years of poverty and neglect, the whole world is doomed.
  • If we are God’s children, we don’t have to live the way we’ve been forced to live… We’ve got to stay together and maintain unity. Whenever Pharaoh wanted to prolong slavery, he would keep the slaves fighting amongst themselves. Let us maintain unity.
  • When people get caught-up with what is right, and are willing to sacrifice for it, there is no stopping us short of victory!
  • Too often, preachers aren’t concerned about anything but themselves… It’s alright to talk about long white robes and all of its symbolisms over yonder; but people need some suits and shoes and dresses to wear over here. It’s alright to talk about streets flowing with milk; but God has commanded us to be concerned about the slums down here, and His children who can’t eat three square meals a day.
  •  Always anchor our external direct action with the power of economic withdrawal… Never forget that collectively we are richer than all the nations in the world, with the exception of nine. We don’t have to argue with anybody. We don’t have to curse and go around acting bad with our words. We don’t need bricks and bottles and Molotov cocktails. We just need to…withdraw economic support…

Make short and long-term goals for your home and family

February 15, 2014

Make short and long-term goals for your home and family.

Plan for your comfort, safety, financial provision, spiritual growth, social growth, health and emotional stability. Set these goals, plan for them, prepare to do well, and start taking steps needed to reach them!

Goals don’t come to you, YOU go to them!

Make sure your goals are SMART!

A SMART Goal must be:

  •  specific
  • measurable
  • agreed, achievable, applicable
  • realistic & relevant

This YouTube video explains it well.

Does It Feel Like You’re Words Fall on Deaf Ears?

February 13, 2014

Leaders, how do you know when you’re talking to a wise person? Proverbs 9:6-12 has the key!

6 Leave your simple ways behind, and begin to live; learn to use good judgment.” 7 Anyone who rebukes a mocker will get an insult in return. Anyone who corrects the wicked will get hurt.  8 So don’t bother correcting mockers; they will only hate you.

But CORRECT THE WISE, AND THEY WILL LOVE YOU.  9 INSTRUCT THE WISE AND THEY WILL BE EVEN WISER.

Teach the righteous, and they will learn even more. 10 Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. 11 Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. 12 If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer.

Ask yourself:

  • When you correct them, do they love you or reject you?
  • Do their behaviors and choices show proof of one who has gained more wisdom?

The answers to these two questions should help you realize when you’re dealing with the un-wise, and can keep you from wearing yourself out with unfruitful endeavors. ~Selah

FIVE Tips for Wholeness in 2014

January 1, 2014

Tip for Wholeness (1)

Spend less time thinking about and/or responding to people who are not on you’re A-Team  – this means you must already know who is on your team

Tip for Wholeness (2)

Force yourself to focus on high-priority/high-outcome strategies and tasks. Low-outcome tasks will always be plenteous when you try to deal with them one-by-one; but focusing high-outcome strategies will bring order to those little guys.

Tip for Wholeness (3)

Eat better.  Stop super-sizing everything; Eat fewer food from packages, boxes and cans;  Eat more veggies and fruits; Drink more water

Tip for Wholeness (4)

Move that body. Exercise, walk, stretch. Don’t eat and then sit down; and don’t even think about laying down.  Eat and then move!

Tip for Wholeness (5)

Don’t spend more than you receive. Use cash and not credit!  SAVE at least 10% of every dollar you receive, and GIVE at least 10% of every dollar you receive.

In spite of the challenge, let’s make this another great year!

Closer Than You Think… Keep Going

November 25, 2013

You have a goal that you’re working towards, and sometimes that goal seems so far away. Sometimes the barriers to reaching the goal make you re-think if you really want it.  But then… one day… you look around and realize:

“I’m closer than I thought.”
